A Fascinating Piece of History

If I was to write a historical novel I would choose to write about the Alamo. Just that time in history  intrigues me most because I like that western theme and there was some good classic cowboys and Indians. Specifically, I would write about Davey Crockett because being from Texas I visited the Alamo a lot and in that exhibit they have a part dedicated to Davey Crockett and he would be mentioned a lot in folk legends. I like the fact he was involved in politics and was involved with the battle that gained America more land.
